Jack Barganier is a songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Barganier began his solo career in New York City, playing venues like The Bowery Electric and Heaven Can Wait. He moved down to Nashville in the summer of 2023 to continue working on his songwriting career in Music City. Since landing in Nashville, he’s brought his music to stages including Cafe Coco, Eastside Bowl, Drifters BBQ, Phat Bites, and The Goat.

His latest album, Friends We Made Along the Way, was born out of a life-changing trek on the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Over the course of the pilgrimage, Barganier met fellow travelers from across the globe, trading stories and finding fresh inspiration for his songwriting. Back home, the songs came quickly—seven tracks, each dedicated to a companion from the road.

The album bounces between English and Spanish-language lyrics, echoing the voices and languages he heard on the trail, and blends an eclectic mix of styles—from old-school rockabilly to hushed, reflective folk in the style of Townes Van Zandt and John Prine. The result is an album that feels as much like a journey as the hike that inspired it.
